Thursday
Well done to the second year boys who today played in the All Ireland Playoffs in Cork, winning their first Game V Fermoy on a score of 40-36 before coming up just short 41-36 against a very talented Wexford CBS side who will now go on as favourites to reach the All Ireland Final.
On April 23rd a team of ten athletes travelled to Castleisland to compete in the Kerry School’s Track and Field event. Our athletes compete in 100m, long jump, high jump and shot and each of them performed very well, some enjoying their first experience of a track event. As well as some enjoying their first day on the track, our more experienced athletes enjoyed great success. Katie Bulter won gold in the shot, Hannah Sheehy won gold in the high jump and Steve Reidy won bronze in the 100m sprint.
The day was a very enjoyable day for all, and we look forward to the North Munster’s in two weeks’ time.
