Monday
Well done to our U17 hurlers were in action yesterday in the quarter final of the Limerick Post-Primary schools competition vs Scoil Pól in Kilfinane. Despite heavy underfoot conditions both sides played their part in a cracking game of hurling. Overcoming a ponderous start the Causeway lads roared back into the game with Matthew Flaherty and Sean Ross leading the scoring charge and showing great leadership for the younger players on the team. Cillian Foley, Ben Lynch, Jack Cashman and Billy Moriarty were tenacious around the middle of the field while our younger lads, Dean O’Leary, Ruairi Condon and Evan Diggins looked very much at home at this level. However, the Limerick men edged out in the end by just 4 points (2-15 to 2-11.)
Tuesday
Congrats to our first year footballers who kicked off their championship campaign with a hard fought victory ( 5-12 to 3-8) over Scoil Phobail Sliabh Luachra, Rathmore. Played in tough conditions our boys showed great fight and played some lovely football. The game saw over 25 of our competitive panel all play important roles in the win, this is very encouraging as they play Kenmare next at home.
Wednesday

Congrats to our U15 footballers who are through to the Munster semi final after a 5-10 to 3-12 win over Kildysart
Well done to our u19 girls badminton team who represented the school in today's Munster schools competition in UL. The team was made up of Luisa Rath, Misha Corr, Oliwia Doboszynska and Anastasia Kovalenko. They played some fantastic games and reached the semi-final which ended 3 games a piece, meaning the game went to Aces. Unfortunately, due to points difference the opposition scrope through to the final. This was a fantastic achievement by our girls and they are the first team to represent our school at Munster level in badminton. Huge thanks to coach Michelle Corr for all her help preparing and organising the team.
