Wednesday

Well done to the Causeway U17 Football team who today secured victory v Castlegregory. In a game played in Cahersalee. Causeway played well and got some great team scores with Noah O Sullivan and Conor Slattery hitting goals in the first half. Brendan Duggan was imperious at the back throughout and was helped in no end by Billy Moriarty and Sean Ross.
This, combined with earlier results against Rathmore and Gaelcholaiste Chiarrai puts the team into the Joe O'Connor Final with the opposition to be decided on Monday next. Well done to all the players involved.

The school is now entering its third football final of the year following two senior (U19) finals. Best of luck also to the u15 footballers in their Munster Semi on Friday!

Thursday

A huge thank you to Niamh Leen of Loinnir Pilates for delivering a fantastic three-week Pilates block with our LCA 1 and LCA 2 students. Over the course of 3 weeks students had the opportunity to experience Pilates while gradually progressing through new movements, stretches, and breathing techniques each week. Both students and teachers thoroughly enjoyed exploring this new form of exercise and the many benefits it offers. A massive thank you to Niamh for her engaging and enjoyable classes.

Friday

Well done to our 1st year hurlers who were playing against a very strong Ardscoil Ris team in the Limerick A schools competition. The Causeway boys were exemplary in their attitude and work rate but the Limerick side had too much quality in the end and came away with the win. A great opportunity for our lads to test themselves at this level an plenty of positives to work on as we head towards the final school term.

Saturday

Best of luck to the Kerry Minor Hurling Team as they begin their Leinster championship with a round 1 fixture vs Laois on Saturday at 15:30 in O'Moore Park, Portlaoise. Causeway CS are represented on the panel by Ruairi Walshe, Sean Ross, Ryan Carey, Billy Moriarty, Matthew O'Flaherty, Ben Lynch and Sean Barron
