Our senior girls football team were away to Castleisland today. They put in a hard fought battle against a very strong Castleisland Community College team but unfortunately fell short, losing the game 3-10 to 3-4. Good effort by all .
Thursday
70 of our junior and senior camogie girls togged out to play in the Kerry group camogie blitz in Caherslee. We entered six teams across the three competitions, the Senior cup, the Junior shield and the Junior cup. After a fantastic junior cup final against Mounthawk, we were crowned Junior cup champions. Captain Megan Joy collected the cup on behalf of her teammates and Willow Molloy was crowned junior player of the tournament. Well done to all teams who had great performances across the day.
A huge thanks to Kerry group for sponsoring the day, Claire Salmon for her wonderful work and support to Kerry camogie, Mercy Mounthawk for organising and Caherslee for the use of their grounds.
Congratulations to Billy Moriarty and Matthew Flaherty who last night won the County Championship in Austin Stack Park with North Kerry. Also pictured are Dylan Costello and John Curtin who recently graduated from Causeway Comprehensive. Well done to all.
