Causeway Comprehensive School is proud to launch a new Laptop Initiative for students entering 5th Year this September 2026. This program supports students in developing essential digital skills for learning, exams, and future careers.

📘 Why This Matters

As the Leaving Certificate curriculum evolves, students are increasingly expected to use digital tools for:

Project work (worth 40 % in each subject
Research, Study skills and exam preparation
Organisation and productivity

This mirrors third-level education and the modern workplace, where laptops and e-books are standard.

We’ve partnered with Eduvolve a trusted provider of IT devices to secondary schools, to offer a high-quality laptop at a special price. Payments can be made in full or by instalments via Eduvolve. Cara Credit Union also supports the initiative with flexible payment plans.

Payment Methods:

-P Payments may be made in full or through an interest-free instalment plan with Eduvolve.

- Order Portal open 29th July 2026 and closes October 23rd 2026
- Payments must be completed by 23^rd October 2026.
- Devices will then be delivered directly to the school and distributed during the week of November 9^th, 2026.
